Safety is paramount to us here at Ringrose Tree Services and this is reflected in our extremely low accident rate. We keep this rate so low because of our meticulous attention to correct procedure, and because we take all advised precautionary and safety measures at all times. We do not take risks.
Our work ensures the safety of you, the client, as well as the general public, our own staff and the trees themselves.
Here are some of the ways in which we make sure everyone stays safe:
- We carry out a detailed risk assessment before starting any work.
- We provide comprehensive method statements when required.
- All members of staff are trained in first aid with The British Red Cross.
- All our equipment is tested and complies with L.O.L.E.R (Lifting Operations and Regulations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998). That means our tree climbing equipment is inspected by a qualified LOLER Inspector bi-annually.
- All of our equipment is inspected regularly in line with P.U.W.E.R (Provision of Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998).
- All of our works conform to B.S.3998 (1989).
- We are fully compliant with W.A.H (Working at Height Regulations 2005)
- Operations adjacent to any highway are controlled with a safe system of work in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual 1991.
- We work strictly in line with our Health and Safety Policy which was developed following a rigorous review of the likely hazzards that could arise from our operations and the industry guidance governing of proposed tasks. A copy of our Health and Safety Policy is available upon request.
