We keep this rate so low because of our meticulous attention to correct procedure, and because we take all advised precautionary and safety measures at all times. <strong><em>We do not take risks. </em></strong></p> <p> Our work ensures the safety of you, the client, as well as the general public, our own staff and the trees themselves.</p> <p> Here are some of the ways in which we make sure <strong><em>everyone stays safe</em></strong>:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>We carry out a detailed risk assessment before starting any work.</li> <li>We provide comprehensive method statements when required.</li> <li>All members of staff are trained in first aid with The British Red Cross.</li> <li>All our equipment is tested and complies with L.O.L.E.R (Lifting Operations and Regulations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998). That means our tree climbing equipment is inspected by a qualified LOLER Inspector bi-annually.</li> <li>All of our equipment is inspected regularly in line with P.U.W.E.R (Provision of Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998).</li> <li>All of our works conform to B.S.3998 (1989).</li> <li>We are fully compliant with W.A.H (Working at Height Regulations 2005)</li> <li>Operations adjacent to any highway are controlled with a safe system of work in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual 1991. </li> <li>We work strictly in line with our Health and Safety Policy which was developed following a rigorous review of the likely hazzards that could arise from our operations and the industry guidance governing of proposed tasks.
